Welcome to Pottery by Laura Lenhert. I create custom hand painted pottery. My goal is to create a one of a kind piece that you will cherish. The images are fired on which makes them completely functional and food safe. Just choose your shape and send me the photo.

To place an order

Visit my Etsy shop at www.potterybylaura.Etsy.com. On the site you will see a variety of shapes and sizes. Click on the shape you like and choose the option. I sell the stands along with the pottery. Then email me your photo at potterybylaura@yahoo.com. I hand draw each image on the pottery so I can make minor changes like adding flowers, grass etc. The images are fired on so they are completely functional. Please feel free to message me with any questions. My turn around time is 1-2 weeks.

My story

I have always enjoyed creating sentimental art. I was an art teacher at a local high school which I loved. I started my pottery business on the side in 2000. In 2004 I gifted my dad a platter I made of his childhood home. It made him emotional and I knew I wanted to create that for other people. The houses we live in hold so many memories. Having that image created on a pottery piece can be special. I have since retired from teaching and create pottery full time.
